Special Session

Special Session on "Dielectric Materials and Power Equipment"

  • Aims
  • The rapid development of clean and renewable energy technologies represented by wind and solar energy and the continuous growth of load demand have put forward higher requirements for the safe operation of the power system, the assurance of power supply quality and the conversion and utilization efficiency of electric energy. Power equipment based on traditional dielectric materials, its performance is often limited by the parameters of the material, unable to meet the needs of the power system under the new situation. Therefore, the development of advanced dielectric materials to achieve a major breakthrough in power equipment will not only bring disruptive changes to the field of energy, but will also have a revolutionary impact on deep-sea exploration, aerospace and aviation, national defense and military industry and other fields. To share the important achievements and advancements in the research of Dielectric Materials and Power Equipment, this session aims to facilitate communications and discussions for the innovation and development of the dielectric materials and its application in power equipment.
